Siting your frog house: if you have a pond place it close to that, preferably in shade so it doesn't bake in sunny weather.
Most frogs and toads will start to be seen around the edges of ponds in feb and march as they emerge from hibernation, so
that will help maximise the chances of early occupancy. You may not have a pond if you have toads as they will forage a fair
way on dry land. If that is the case then site the house close to where you are seeing them now but again in shade.
